SO BUSY...

I'm working on a solo show for Roq La Rue Gallery in Seattle this September. My art life started with this gallery 10 years ago, so 2011 is my 10th anniversary. I'm looking forward to see everyone in Seattle. I'm very busy right now but my reward after this are, going back to Sapporo, adapt a dog and Judas Priest live show. I hope all my dreams come true!

The group exhibition "The Enchanted Forest" at Strychnin Gallery last month is now touring to Italy, at
Civic Museum of Reggio Emilia. The show runs through the end August. Stop by if you have a chance.

９月のRoq La Rue ギャラリー（シアトル）での展覧会に向けて描いています。このギャラリーから私の絵描き人生は始まりました。２０１１年はちょうど１０周年記念の年です。シアトルの皆さんにお会いできることを楽しみにしています。
今はとっても忙しいけど、これが終わったら札幌へ里帰り、犬をアダプト、ジューダス・プリーストのコンサート．．．が待っている予定。全部叶うかな！？

先月、ドイツ、ベルリンのStrychnin ギャラリーで開かれたグループ展「The Enchanted Forest」が、現在はイタリアへツアー、Civic Museum of Reggio Emiliaで８月末まで展示中です。機会がありましたら、どうぞお立ち寄り下さいね。

ART FOR JAPAN IN SEATTLE

It's been about 2 month since the Earthquake hit Japan. It's hard for me to see my home country in such a bad shape.

Since that day, many art groups have invited me for Japan relief shows. I really appreciate the opportunities. 

I chose this special event in Seattle to participate in, which is curated by my good friends and great artists Toshi Asai and Ben Beres. The event is a group exhibition with wonderful Japanese artists from Seattle area. 100% of the money towards Peace winds.

I'll donate a limited edition print, 2 kinds of rare posters and toys. They are all "casual price".

So come and grab some goodies before they gone! The event is also a part of "Blitz" - That hip art walk in Capitol Hill. Isn't it fun!? I can't to wait to see you there, my neighbors ;)

震災から早２ヶ月。未だ続く故郷の惨状は胸に刺さります。
色々なアートグループから日本支援イベントに誘って頂きましたが、良き友人であり、すばらしいアーティストであるToshi Asai & Ben Beres の二人が立ち上げた、地元シアトルでの展覧会に参加することになりました。地元の日本人作家を集めたイベントです。全ての収益はPeace Winds を通して日本に送られます。私はプリント、ポスター２種（レア！）、おもちゃを寄付します。どれも不況に優しいお手頃価格。売り切れる前にお越し下さいませ！このイベントは、キャピトルヒルのかっこいいアートウォークBLITZにも組み込まれています。ぜひ来てね！

JAPAN RELIEF T-SHIRT

It's been a month since the earthquake. I was worried about Japan during that time. Anyways I just wonder if people in Japan really knows how huge the Japan relief campaign is here. People in America immediately started charity for Japan after the earthquake. I am especially surprised about Japan relief T shirts - they are a lots of designs! It's awesome about how much Japan is be loved...
People have come up with some great designs for the purpose and it was very quick, I guess it means that people have a clear image of what Japan is. I'm happy about it.
Thank you so much America, and the world.

東日本大地震から一ヶ月が経ちました。遠くから故郷の安否を思う、不安なひと月でした。
こちらでの日本支援の勢いのすさまじさ、日本でどのくらい知られていますでしょうか。あっと言う間にみんながスクラム組んで、我先にと日本支援に乗り出してくれています。特に驚きなのは、このためにデザインされたTシャツの数々で、その種類の豊富さときたら！怖いほどに愛されてます。
こんなにあっというまに、目的が一目瞭然のTシャツが多数デザインされるとは、人々の心に日本のイメージが形としてあるということでしょうから、嬉しく思います。

ROCK YOU IN A TATAMI ROOM!

My newest show "Rock you in a Tatami Room" is going on at The Shooting gallery in San Francisco. I had a really good time at the opening reception. It was a day after the earthquake in Japan and I was very upset before. But many people who showed up were real warm and welcoming to me. It made me smile. Thank you so much for your warm support!

The show will run through until April 2nd. I hope you can swing by to The Shooting gallery and enjoy my work in real. I hope my babies makes you smile, too :)

私の最新の展覧会「ロックユーインアタタミルーム」がサンフランシスコのThe Shooting Galleryで開催中です。当日はとても楽しいオープニングレセプションでした。東北関東大震災の翌日で、それまで辛い気持ちでいましたが、来て頂いた大勢の皆さんに暖かく迎えられて笑顔になりました。暖かいご支援をありがとうございました！
